Tasting Notes: Tionio Reserva has a deep ruby color with purple hints. The nose is complex with ripe red fruit aromas, spices and a toasted background from aging in oak barrels. In mouth the bouquet is very expressive, with the same flavors of red fruit and spices presented in nose and an elegant aftertaste with nutty flavors, especially hazelnuts. The tannins are extremely elegant and ripe. It’s a mature wine perfect for pairing with grilled vegetables, red meat and cured dishes.

FLAVOR: A delicate bead with aromas of citrus and fresh green apple. Soft and elegant on the palate with notes of pear and toasted almond. Wonderful as an aperitif, or a good match with light appetizers and shellfish.
VINIFICATION: After hand-harvesting and sorting, we press only whole grapes in order to control maceration and ensure our Cava’s characteristic light color as well as avoid any tannic taste resulting form longer skin contact. We add 10% Grenache using great precision to create a fresh, deep and creamy texture. All of the wine is cold fermented in our state of the art facility at the Montargull Estate in Avinyonet del Penedés in the shadow of the dramatic Montserrat cliffs and monastery. Second fermentation is also carefully controlled and takes place in the bottle, with gentle aging in our dark cellars for a minimum of 15 months on the lees. At bottling time, all bottles are disgorged using the latest technology to ensure cleanliness and freshness of the Cava.

The Cava Brut Reserva is made from the traditional cava varieties Xarel.lo, Parellada and Macabeo, plus Chardonnay. All grapes come from the Sumarroca estate. Bright straw yellow color with small persistent bubbles. Fragrant aromas of citrus fruits and apple combined with notes from the aging. On the palate it is fresh and crisp and with apple and fruit. Long and pleasant finish. Semi seco Cava is perfect to accompany any aperitif, blue cheese or desserts.

Bright pink color with small persistent bubbles. Fragrant aromas of cranberry, strawberries, cherry blossom, and rhubarb. On the palate it is flavorful, crisp, refreshing and with a persistent stream of small bubbles. Long, elegant and pleasant finish.

FLAVOR: The aroma is fresh thanks to the fruity notes of the base wine and the contribution of aging on yeast. Clean and not vinous, it is easy to drink as in the mouth the attack is creamy but dry. Although the expedition liqueur (sugars) is not added, it has a slight sweetness. It bubbles perfectly, without too much carbonic gas, and has a balanced acidity. A real treat in the mouth. Good cavas can accompany any aperitif or meal from beginning to end: cold and hot starters, grilled meats, stews, fried foods, etc. Brut Nature Gran Reserva also makes a good accompaniment for desserts that are not too sweet, fresh fruit salads, different types of cakes, etc.
